HEATEXPO 2025 continues its growth trajectory: bigger, more international, and with an even better programme
Around 200 exhibitors, growing international credentials and an extended programme of talks and networking opportunities covering three days in Dortmund
As the European trade show for tomorrow's heating, HEATEXPO brings technologies to life, focusing strongly on business, networking and knowledge transfer. This third show combines an even bigger line-up of exhibitors with an expanded, internationally focused programme. HEATEXPO puts innovation centre stage and includes a new Start-up Area. At the end of November, decision-makers in local government, municipal utilities, industry and planning will meet solution providers in Dortmund to advance strategies and projects to take the sector into the future.
Dortmund, 30 October 2025 – HEATEXPO (25 – 27 November 2025 at Messe Dortmund) is continuing its growth trajectory with 200 exhibitors having already confirmed their participation in this third show offering even more floorspace. The show is also sharpening its international profile, with around a quarter of registered exhibitors coming from outside Germany. All this means HEATEXPO is establishing itself even more clearly as the European meeting place for technologies, strategies and partnerships concerned with the provision of heating in tomorrow's world.
A truly international programme
The programme line-up also highlights the diversity of international perspectives, with the HEATEXPO Forum serving up English-language highlights on Day 1 as thoughts turn to Changing the heat production in Aarhus – Implementing geothermal wells and an array of seawater heat pumps from 14:30 to 15:25 hrs closely followed by French and German strategies for decarbonising heat consumption from 15:50 to 16:20 hrs and culminating in Sweden's heat sector: near net zero and towards negative emissions – what can be learned? between 16:20 and 16:50 hrs.
The Local Government Campus, the 2025 National Waste Heat Conference – Matchmaking for Waste Heat on Days 1 and 2, the Denmark Workshops, and the evening “Get-together” on 25 November will offer even more opportunities for dialogue and networking. Current details of the programme are available online at www.heat-expo.de/forum-heatexpo.
Innovation hub – the "Start-up Area"
HEATEXPO is presenting its own Start-up Area for the first time. The space is designed with visibility and encounters in mind, with young businesses presenting their solutions for tomorrow's heating and engaging in dialogue with trade visitors, municipal utilities, industrial producers, potential investors and other stakeholders. Its location at the heart of the action – between the HEATEXPO Forum and the Local Government Campus – creates a natural flow of visitors and ensures discussion partners are close at hand. The start-ups currently registered include ExerGo SA, Wärmewerk GmbH, Bendforce GmbH and Youn Control AG.
HEATEXPO is being held at Messe Dortmund between 25 and 27 November 2025 – the online ticket shop is now open, with day passes costing EUR 52 each, and multi-day passes for all three days of the show available for EUR 94. Due to high levels of interest, the Get-together networking event on 25 November is already sold out.
