HEATEXPO 2026 further sharpens its profile: Hall 4 brings together infrastructure, services, and consulting
Municipal Campus strengthens the trade show’s role as a central platform for municipalities, municipal utilities, and public institutions
With the hall expansion, HEATEXPO 2026 is further developing its trade show concept while simultaneously sharpening the event’s thematic structure. While the new Hall 7 will focus on energy generation, among other things, Hall 4 will in future cover the topics of infrastructure, services, and consulting even more comprehensively. The Municipal Campus remains firmly established there as the central hub for municipalities, municipal utilities, and public institutions. HEATEXPO will take place from November 24 to 26, 2026, in Dortmund.
Dortmund, May 18, 2026 – In Hall 4, exhibitors will showcase practical solutions, innovative products, and forward-looking concepts that address the entire value chain of modern heating and cooling supply. The focus is on the interfaces between planning, implementation, operation, and optimization. Especially in a market where technological innovation and concrete implementation are becoming increasingly intertwined, Hall 4 creates a dedicated space for orientation, exchange, and business development.
Once again, a special focus is on the Municipal Campus, which specifically addresses the issues faced by municipalities, municipal utilities, and public institutions. As early as 2024 and 2025, the format in Hall 4 brought together roundtables, keynote presentations, and panel discussions on topics such as municipal heating planning, digital and cross-sectoral approaches, neighborhood projects, communication, and funding opportunities. As a result, the Municipal Campus has established itself as a central meeting place for all stakeholders working on practical implementation on the ground.
“Thanks to the new hall structure, HEATEXPO will become even more clearly organized and practical for exhibitors and trade visitors,” says Sabine Loos, Managing Director of the Westfalenhallen Unternehmensgruppe (Westfalenhallen Group) which owns and operates the Messe Dortmund venue:“Hall 4 is dedicated to concrete applications, networking among relevant stakeholders, and the issues that actually concern municipalities, utilities, and project partners in their day-to-day work.” With the new structure in Halls 4 and 7, HEATEXPO 2026 is consistently further developing its profile as the leading international trade fair for innovative heating and cooling supply in line with market needs. Under the new slogan “Innovation in every degree,” it brings together manufacturers, planners, utility companies, municipalities, the housing sector, and industry across the entire value chain.
