HEATEXPO in Dortmund is the leading international trade fair for innovative heating and cooling supply and is aimed at decision-makers, trade visitors and industry experts from the energy sector, industry, local authorities and trade.
In November, Messe Dortmund will show how modern technologies, products and services contribute to a sustainable heat supply, the achievement of climate targets and the transformation of the energy supply. How far we have come in decarbonizing our heating networks and how this contributes to the energy transition. A broad-based international program with keynote speeches, panels, workshops and best practices will allow you to discover the latest solutions in heating and cooling supply.

HEATEXPO will take place from November 24 – 26, 2026.
The exhibition halls are open on Tuesday and Wednesday from 10: 00 – 17:00 and on Thursday from 10:00 – 16:00.
Box office
Please note that there will be no box office on site at HEATEXPO – we recommend booking your ticket in advance! However, visitors without a ticket can still purchase an online ticket at the terminals provided at the entrance.

Parking:
Parking spaces A3, A4, A8, as well as C1/D1, D2 and E1 are available. The maximum parking fee is EUR 15.50 per car.
By train:
Deutsche Bahn offers a discounted event ticket for your journey to the trade fair: from € 59 (2nd class) or € 95 (1st class) with train connection – or flexible from € 82 (2nd class) or € 119 (1st class, incl. seat reservation).

By public transport:
From the subway station “Westfalenhallen” (line U45) you can reach the exhibition grounds in just 10 minutes from Dortmund main station. Alternatively, the U46 will also take you to the “Westfalenhallen” stop in around 5 minutes. The stops are barrier-free and well signposted.

The airports of Dortmund, Düsseldorf and Cologne/Bonn are located nearby.

Visa form
In accordance with the decree issued by the Federal Foreign Office on 24.07.2013, a letter of invitation from the trade fair company is generally not required. If you still require such a letter, you can create it yourself by filling out the form with your personal details. After submitting the form, you will receive your invitation letter by e-mail.
WLAN
Messe Dortmund offers free WLAN via the CityWLAN of the City of Dortmund. Connect to the “Hotspot Westfalenhallen” network, accept the terms and conditions and you can start using the WLAN.
Accessibility
The exhibition grounds are completely barrier-free. Halls 4 to 8 are connected at ground level, and the upper halls and the congress area are accessible via elevators. Disabled toilets with Eurokey locking systems are available in all halls. Wheelchairs can be borrowed for a deposit at the North Entrance (limited availability).
